It’s been awhile
January 22, 2011*knock knock* Anyone out there? It’s been awhile, but I decided to resurrect this blog. SInce the last time I posted (woah…in March), I’ve been pretty busy. I got a full time job, did a little travelling, and I’m now on a roller derby team! But that’s not why you’re here. This is a comic blog, so I’ll talk about comics. ^_^ .
I’ve been reading a bunch of stuff-Izombie, The Brightest Day, The Blackest Night, and all of those tie-ins, The Walking Dead, Fables,and I went to another convention! A convention a million times as big as Steel City Con. New York Comic-Con! It was awesome. NYC is my favorite city in the world so I thought a one day ticket to the con would be fine and I’d spend the other days exploring NYC. I really regret that. I wish I had bought a weekend ticket. One day was not enough to experience NYCC. I walked around for hours and hours and still didn’t see everything. I didn’t go to any panels, just walked around, met some people, played some games, visited booths and bought stuff! I saw some really creative cosplay.

Unfortunately, I didn’t dress up. I, Sophia the princess of procrastination, didn’t finish my costume in time. Surprise, surprise! Hopefully, it will be perfected before the next con which will be *drumroll* Pax East in Boston. Who’s coming?!
